It’s fashioned with a rugged, weather-resistant case and features an indicator light so you can confirm from afar that the unit is energizing your fence line. The unit powers up to 5 miles of single-strand wire and sends a small jolt of electricity into any human or animal that touches it, perfect for controlling pets, livestock and predators. It sends pulsed DC output at 1-second intervals using a 6- or 12-Volt battery (sold separately) to shock transgressors without causing permanent damage. A one-year limited is included with purchase, which covers damage arising from lightning strikes.
