I am a Gemologist with GIA Diploma and I guarantee the identity of the gem.

I faceted this gem myself in the USA. I was taught by Walther Gludt, who in turn apprenticed in Idar-Oberstein, Germany.
The gem is precision cut (diamond cut), with faceted girdle and faceted culet. The cutting angles are chosen according to the laws of Optics in order to achieve the most brilliant gem possible.
The gem is UNTREATED according to USA Federal Trade Commission Guide, meaning that NO treatment was applied to it before or after faceting since it was mined from the ground. By law any other treatments must be disclosed, although this may not be a requirement in other countries.
Because of their rarity, untreated gems are more valuable than natural gems that are treated or enhanced.
