The
Deep Space Station K-7
was a way-station on the fringe of the Federation
and a spiritual ancestor to Deep Space Nine. In fact, components were based on
an actual "inflatable moon base" design developed for the U.S. space program.
The station was built by Starfleet and was located within Federation space near the
border of the Klingon Empire.
The accompanying magazine explores the detailed design
and specifications of the station, as well as the station's history.

has been painstakingly recreated in die-cast and plastic materials, and then hand painted with an incredible level of detail.
The vehicle measures approximately 9.5 inches long
and comes with a collector magazine.
