**collector's item**
This is a rare, unique piece, customized for what may have been a ship named 'Compromise'. Instead of the stylized blue flower in the center of the dish, there is an artful insignia composed of a seagull, an anchor and the word 'COMPROMISE.' The cobalt painting is exemplary here, as well as throughout the dish. The way the motifs are fit in the tight corners of the dish is remarkable.
The coaster is a
factory first
in excellent used condition. It is a hefty, sturdy piece with signs of use. There are
no chips or cracks
. The piece was hand made and hand painted in Denmark in 1961.
The dish has a 6 inch maximal diameter and a 1 1/8 inch height.
Carefully packaged in non-smoking, no pets household, and shipped domestically with USPS Priority Mail.
