Here is a
Royal Copenhagen
Blue Fluted 16-point serving dish, Number 1/141.
This is the middle size of the elegant 16-point blue fluted serving dishes that were made by RC (now discontinued). They are hard to find and highly sought after.
This is an old piece, hand made and painted in Denmark in
1900-1923
. Many of the points along the edge of the dish have been partially ground
down. This was done
professionally (and quite well), many years ago. This was most likely done to smooth over chips. The overall appearance and presentation of the piece is complete and harmonious despite these repairs.
The dish is a
factory first
. Besides the ground down edges, the dish is in excellent used condition, with no other apparent damages or flaws
The dish has a 6 3/4 inch diameter and a 1 3/4 inch height.
The piece is beautiful, well-proportioned and can be used for many different purposes.
