Royal Copenhagen
Blue Fluted Half Lace Teapot, Number 1/611
.
Beautifully hand painted in Denmark in 1958.
It has the famous, elegant half lace pattern.
The teapot is in excellent used condition. It has been displayed for many years in my family's home, and is virtually unused. It has no damage and shows very little indication of use.
The scratches through the waves indicates that this piece is a
factory second
. The only reason for this that I can find is the firing mark inside the teapot. This is indicated in the second to last photo.
The tea pot is medium-to-large size, holding roughly 4 cups or 1 liter.
There are
no scratches, cracks or chips
. There are no apparent flaws or clear signs of wear.
