Blue Fluted Half Lace Large Breakfast Cup & Saucer Number 1/524.
This is a rare, jumbo size tea cup that is no longer produced. It is a beautiful piece and a very desirable size.
This is an old set from
1900-1923
. Both pieces are
factory firsts
with exemplary, beautiful dark painting.
There is one shallow chip on the cup's rim, and two small chips on the saucer. These are carefully shown in the pictures. A previous owner applied some white paint to these areas. The set remains very beautiful and usable. There is no other damage or apparent flaws.
The cup measures 2 1/2 inches high and
4 3/8
inches in rim diameter.
The saucer is 6 3/8 inches in diameter.
