Rare Vintage 1930 Gillette New Deluxe Somerset Safety Razor

Please do not make the determination weather to buy or not to buy the razor based on the description. Check out the pictures and please do your own research. These are rare and vintage razors, there is a lot of information on the net, some rather conflicting. My description is purely based on the description I was given and my understanding of these opinions on the net.
So if there is anything you know is not correct, don't hesitate to contact me with the correction please. To make things easier I took a lot of pictures, showing what is being offered in detail (I will gladly provide additional pictures if needed, just be specific as to what would you like to see please). In a few words the description I was given. What you see is a New Deluxe in a New Somerset case. Both the razor and the case are rather rare. According to the serial number, this one was produced in 1930. These were produced from May I believe 1930 and the production ended early 1931, so very few were made. As you may have guessed they came during great depression, and were priced at , which was a lot of money at the time. Not only very few were made buy even less were sold, therefore perhaps the production of this model was suspended. You may check in detail if you visit

On the handle: PAT. Jan 13 1920 USA and underneath that: Other Patents Pending. This also seems to be kind of rare for Somerset. I will add any additional information I receive and I will continue the research as well. Once again, I hope the pictures will tell the rest, also I have NOT tried to clean, polish or tempered with it in any way, this is how I have received the razors.
