The marks and backstamps on this piece indicate its vintage is between 1979 and 1983 – which places it within the timeframe when Royal Copenhagen products were still produced in Denmark and not in Thailand as the pieces of more recent vintage are today.
Intensely pretty, Blue Fluted Full Lace is a testimony to the finest porcelain craftsmanship.
Its open-work border is carefully created, with each individual hole in the intricate lace carefully made by hand and delicately accented with blue brushstrokes by the artisan whose initials appear on the bottom of each piece.
