Outstanding, Gillette safety razor, with original case, and extra blade package

Description

Outstanding, Gillette safety razor with original case and set of double edged razor blades. This razor is in excellent condition, with no worn spots, where the plating is so worn that the brass base shows through, and no shaving residue.  The inside of the case, with its brilliant purple fabric lining is gorgeous,  especially with its silver lettering and Gillette logo, no freying to the fabric liner.
The exterior of the Khaki (brown) case shows very little wear on the edges,  and snaps open and closed correctly.    There is some "bubbling" on the bottom of the case where the glue failed to glue the fabric to the metal frame.
Based on the coloration of the safety razor case (khaki brown),  this might have been made for the military,  although most military razor sets had a notification which indicated "serviceman's set" or like stamping.
The safety razor set also includes a package of double edged blades,  in their original packages (5).
This set would make the centerpiece of most safety razor collections.  A gorgeous piece in all regards.
