NASA-Engineered R-7 Vostok Rocket Segmented Paper Model Hi-Detail 14" RARE

For sale is a RARE NASA Engineer-created High-Detailed Segmented Paper Scale Model of the Soviet R7 Vostok Rocket with launch/display base. Here is the back story: I got this and many other models from the estate of a local (Huntsville, AL) NASA engineer who, as a hobby, designed and hand-crafted extremely detailed scale paper models of many different missiles, rockets and other space craft. He compared notes with fellow engineers to assure scale and fine details. I haven't seen anything quite like these. I will be listing others, so feel free to contact me about specific rockets you may be interested in.
This is a fascinating model of the Soviet R7 Vostok 8K72 Rocket that stands 14" tall (15" with paper stand). This is a two-segment model with detachable flight craft. You will have a hard time finding a piece quite like this one that stands over a foot tall. I see one tiny missing fin.  The rocket will ship in a sturdy box with cushioned packaging. Segmented parts may be separated for safest packaging. The shipping weight is 2 pounds.

Because I offer multiple pictures and detailed descriptions and prompt reply to questions, I do not offer a standing refund option.

However, eBay’s Global Shipping program may not permit combined shipping for international buyers. Also, I am not ever able to provide international returns.
As of 2019, many states have begun to require that eBay sellers charge sales tax on purchases made from residents of their state. If your state requires sales tax payment, that tax payment will show up on your invoice for final payment. I am sorry about this added cost, but it is a requirement of your state, and not a cent goes to me. Payment for purchases are expected within 3 days of auction end.
