Gillette Sheraton 1937 Safety Razor Refurbished Replated 24 Karat Gold W Case Blades. 1937 Gillette Sheraton, Twist-To-Open "TTO" Safety Razor in Refurbished Re-Plated Condition. This beautiful Gillette razor has been Re-plated in 24 Karat Gold. The twist to open mechanism works precisely as it should, opening easily and closing tightly to hold the blade in place. Truthfully I'm selling the razor, the case is FREE we are just going to give you someplace decent to put it. :-)
The Razor Has No Rust or Pitting.  Every tooth on this razor is precisely where it should be… Completely Straight! All mechanics are 100%! This Beautiful Gillette Razor Set is Essentially Brand-New!
The weight of the Sheraton is 53g.  The case is in Near Mint Vintage Condition, and shows a Small Amount of wear on the outside that can be seen in the pictures.  The inside of the case is in great condition with No Rips or Holes. The hinges are in great condition. The lid closes evenly and stays that way! The shaving kit comes with a package of NOS (new old stock) Gillette Blue Blades, I have no idea how many blades are in the package.. This great vintage razor feels Very Good in the hand while shaving.  Its length is 8.3cm.
I purposely took close-up photos so you can see any imperfections or signs of wear on the razor, there are None, please see the pictures for yourself.   If you are the buyer you will find that the razor, in person, looks better than in the photos.  The razor has been cleaned using everything from a toothbrush to a toothpick, it has been polished, pampered, This razor has been Thoroughly Cleaned and Polished. Deep Cleaning / Disinfecting in 160 degree Ultrasonic Bath with special degreaser / soap scum remover, then a 10 minute soak in Pine Sol (kills 99.9% of germs FDA Approved).
The 1937 Gillette Sheraton Safety Razor was introduced by Gillette for the 1937 Christmas season and then discontinued in 1939.  It is purported to be non-aggressive and to provide a Truly Excellent Shave. Gillette 1930's open combs are considered some of the best shaving Gillettes ever produced.  This razor is the predecessor to the beloved Senator and has the same head and overall design, but the door attachments match the earlier 1930's British and American TTO's.  We believe the earlier attachment provides a little greater detail and makes the razor slightly more attractive than the Senator.
