    Over time and with wear, silver may tarnish when it is exposed to humidity, pollution, and chemicals. I highly recommend buying a silver jewelry polishing cloth to keep your silver looking bright, shiny, and new. That is what we use on our silver and it works wonders!
    925 Silver is not likely to turn your skin green. However, if this happens to you, it is NOT because our silver is low quality. We do not sell low quality silver. This occurs because 925 silver consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. The addition of copper to the pure silver makes the jewelry strong and durable so it will keep it's shape. Unfortunately, some people react to the copper because of chemicals in their skin or because of an allergy to copper. I own several pieces of Taxco 925 silver and I have never had this problem, but we want to be transparent with our clients, thus the warning above.
