    Royal Copenhagen Young Girl sitting on bench in her regional costume while sewing.
    This piece was one of Artist Lotte Benter's
    "Amager"
    girl series
    Designed while Lotte was affiliated with Royal Copenhagen between 1911-1914.
    This particular piece was produced in 1961(dated per the markings on the bottom of the figurine).
    Please note that the Royal Copenhagen mark indicates this is a Factory First piece.
    Markings with a thin line through them indicate a "second" quality piece.
    This young lady measures about 5-3/4" bench bottom to top of hat;
    Approximately 4-1/4" across the bench width plus adding the skirt flare on each side;
    4" front to back at the widest parts.
    Very nice piece that is no longer in production.
