    Description

    Plate designed by architect,  Vilhelm Klein for Aluminia.
    Please consider photos as part of the details including condition,  measurements,  and any imperfections.
    There is a small hairline crack near the rim and a very minor chip on the edge of the rim.
    Things to note which are hard to picture-
    Impressed mark reads "AS" overlapping letters
    partially impressed ALUMINIA underneath.
    This is an older stamp of Aluminia.
    What appears, at first glance, as a blue smear on the outer face of the plates actually reads something written in script. (Please see photos as my best attempt to decipher) "To Alfred s"?
    I have only found one reference photo of close similaritiy dating this plate to 1878. I could not find even this older stamp in any of our reference books.
