    Description

    1966 Gillette slim adjustable.
    Date code L-1
    Beautiful original plating!
Some extremely mild wear, overall cosmetic condition is GREAT!!
Great working condition, everything works as designed.
The twist to open mechanism is nice and smooth and the doors open and close evenly. With each turn of the dial the clicker clicks. Mechanically this razor works exactly as designed.
In Photos number 10 and 11 I have demonstrated the blade Gap and that the adjustment works. In picture number 10 the setting is on one and  picture number 11 the setting is on 9, you cannot see the number nine because I have flipped the razor over in an effort to show you both sides of the head.
the numbers on the adjustment dial are bright and crisp.
In picture number 4 what I have circled is just a reflection, the original plating on this razor is absolutely beautiful and highly reflective.
Included is a pack of 5 Gillette Silver Blue blades.
The pack is Brand new never opened,  perfect for use in this razor or any standard double edge safety razor.
For buyers in the United States I will ship this USPS Priority Mail this will provide us with insurance and faster shipping you pay the first and I will take care of the remainder.
I have cleaned and sanitized this razor. It is shave ready.
I always try and  provide as many pictures as I can, from every angle imaginable and in good lighting.
I  try to find the flaws or anything that might be wrong with an item listed and point them out to you the best I can.
I want your return business, not a one-time sale. I don't like unpleasant surprises and I don't imagine you do either.
And as always please take a good look at the pictures as they're part of the description and if you have any questions or would like to see more pictures just ask I'd be happy to help
I'm a wet shaving enthusiast and I collect old Barber Shop memorabilia.
I have many razors listed, If you don't see what you are looking for please ask and I may have it in stock but not listed yet. And if that is the case I'd be happy to get it listed so that you can look at it.
I will happily combine shipping. I'm also happy to do bundle deals on certain razors when possible
I am happy to ship internationally.
I do not do returns. There are 2 reasons for this, however, please check my feedback. I think you will notice that this will likely be a non-issue.
    #1 is sanitation.
    I sell personal hygiene products.
For  cleaning, I do 3 seperate steps.
I use Dawn detergent, Colgate toothpaste and  isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle.
    This accomplishes
the job without harming the razor. I lubricate with Mineral oil only.
If you have any questions please ask I'd be happy to explain in detail.
#2  I do a thorough job of taking pictures from every angle and I always provide 12 photos. I generally never do auctions so you have plenty of time to look it over and to ask me questions. And I will be happy to send you additional photos upon request, as many as you may need. I try to find the flaws as stated above and point them out to you, however I am human which is why it is critical that you look closely at the photographs and ask questions. Most of the items that I sell are very old and as a result they are going to have blemishes and or imperfections. Some of which are desired by collectors.
I try NOT to polish. In my opinion there is NOT a safe way to do so. No matter how it is done plating is removed.
However, when polishing is required I use 4 different brands/types of polishing cloths . I rarely use a liguid. If I do it is  Flitz or Maas.
This all varies from razor to razor.
I do NOT use a dremel or a buffing wheel on safety razors, I do so on straight razors and only when required.
Thanks for taking the time to check out my listing. -Tobin
