Lancaster County.
In any set of china, the dinner plate is the work horse of the service. For its age, the plate is in good condition, but definitely was used and not just placed in a china cabinet :)
Please examine the photos closely to make your own assessment.
The marks and back stamps on this plate indicate its vintage is 1962 and that it is 1st quality, meeting the exacting standards
of Royal Copenhagen.
It also places it within the timeframe when Royal Copenhagen products were still produced in Denmark and not in Thailand as they are today.
The retail price on the Royal Copenhagen website for this plate is 5 USD.
The Replacements website sells it for 9 -- and does not show you any photos of the actual plate you will receive.
There are two chips in the lace on the backside of the plate. I have included photos with a
pen pointing to the pierced edge
where you can see them.
Intensely pretty, Blue Fluted Full Lace is a testimony to the finest porcelain craftsmanship.
Its open-work border is carefully created, with each individual hole in the intricate lace carefully made by hand and delicately accented with blue brushstrokes
by the artisan whose mark appears on the bottom of each piece.
Truly elaborate and beautiful with a passion.
Such delicate details do make it prone to chipping, unfortunately. If you've ever wanted to own one of these most enduring and beloved plates, this piece would display beautifully, since the chips are on the back -- and enable you to obtain it at a
fraction of its normal cost.
Will ship the next business day after receipt of payment from a
smoke-free and pet-free home in
Lancaster County Pennsylvania via
insured USPS Priority Mail
within the United States only.

A little info on recent work of the American Red Cross:
Last year, more than 70,000 people across the country became new Red Cross volunteers largely to support urgent disaster and essential blood donation needs.
In addition, thousands of pandemic survivors — many new to blood donation — rolled up a sleeve to give convalescent plasma and help patients battling the pandemic.
In areas experiencing heat waves, the American Red Cross is working with local officials to open and support shelters and cooling centers for people affected by the record-breaking high temperatures.
Whatever disaster comes our way -- natural or otherwise -- the American Red Cross is always there.
I am grateful that so many volunteers have the energy to do this very vital work.
For this reason, a portion of my eBay sales are donated to this organization.
Thank you for considering my listing :)
