It is very rare to see 66-year-old razor this beautiful condition. This is the absolute best Gillette Red Tip I've seen. I have my own vintage safety razor collection. I own an excellent condition red tip, but this one is even better. The razor opens and closes flawlessly. The red tip paint looks fantastic. Its condition is probably as close as it was when it came out of the manufacturer 66 years ago. I can tell this razor had very, very little use, if any.
I always clean and disinfect the razors before shipping them, but this time I didn’t even have to clean it. It looks pretty much unused.
